Dr. Chian-Hui Lai is currently an Associate Professor and the Chairman of Graduate Institute of Biomedical Engineering, National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. She received a Ph.D. degree from National Tsing Hua University in 2012. Her research focuses on utilizing concepts from organic chemistry to create small molecules and functionalize nanoparticles for various applications in biomedicine and bioanalysis.
Dr. Lai's laboratory focuses on synthesizing and designing delivery and release systems for specific targeting of anticancer drugs or antibiotics. We use organic chemistry concepts to prepare small molecules or functionalize nanoscale material in various biomedical and bioanalytical applications.
