Introduction

He has taught in the Department of Electronics of Jianxing University of Science and Technology (Qingyun Institute of Technology) and served as the director of the registration group of the Academic Affairs Office. He once served as the director of the Institute of Optoelectronics and the director of the Physics Group during 2012-2014. He was a full-time professor of the Department of Materials Science and Technology of Tatung University (co-employment with the Department of Electrical Engineering) during 2017-2020, He is current a full-time professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Research Topics
The major field of the principal investigator (PI) includes preparation and electron field emission application (including field emission display, field emission lighting and field emission X-ray) of the nanocarbon related materials (including carbon nanotubes, carbon nanocoils, carbon nanowalls and nanocrystalline diamond). Based on the preliminary researchof the nanocarbon related materials, this projectis designed touse the microwave plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition method to grow the diamond film for electron field emission application. The research is novel and interesting thatrequires knowledge of physics, materials and vacuum microelectronics. Recently, the research concentrates on supercapacitor and lithium ion battery with Prof. Hu.
