Introduction

I am an evolutionary biologist using fire ant and Caenorhabditis nematodes as model organisms to study diverse topics such as non-Mendelian inheritance and social biology.

Our lab studies social insect evolution, behavior, and sex determination and non-Mendelian inheritance in nematodes.


Research Topics

Fire ant social biology and sex determination. Nematode sex ratio bias, selfish genes and biodiversity.
