Research Field
Da-Ren Hang received a Ph.D. degree in physics from National Taiwan University in 2002. After one-year postdoctoral appointment at National Taiwan University, he joined the faculty at National Sun Yat-sen University in 2003. At present, he is a Professor in the Department of Materials and Optoelectronic Science, National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. His research interests cover optical and transport properties of semiconductor and quantum structures; growth and properties of wide band-gap materials, 2D materials science, sensors, and materials for energy conversion and storage.
