Introduction

Wen-Ren Yang received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, 1998 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, MO, USA, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. In 2006, he joined the National Changhua University of Education, Changhua, Taiwan, where he is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He is also appointed as the director of Artificial Intelligent Application Center, NCUE. His research interests include wavelet transform, neural network, and integrated optics.
