Information and Innovation Management (Management II Discipline)

Introduction

I am an Associate Professor, (Abbott) Po Shun Chen. I have worked in the Department of Marketing and Logistics Management at Chaoyang University of Technology for 14 years.
【Academic experience】
My academic research focuses on information management and labor research, including related topics such as artificial intelligence, business intelligence, and labor equality. My research in recent years is about how to use intelligence tools and management to develop the rural economy, including regional revitalization, rural leisure, rural labor and employment for the elderly, rural culture, and ecological marketing.
【Industrial experience】
My professional services are as a Professional Lecturer (for Labor Education) at the Ministry of Labor and a Professional Inspector at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan. I have also been an entrepreneurial consultant for the Small and Medium Enterprises Division of the Ministry of Economic Affairs for 18 years. I worked as a labor inspector in the Taichung City Government Labor Bureau.  The industries I coach include water hardware, tourism, environmental education, food baking, and traditional manufacturing industries. 

【Intelligence Brand LAB】
Our lab mainly develops artificial intelligence, business intelligence, digital marketing, B2B marketing, supply chain marketing, etc. These mostly apply image recognition, conversational AI (NLP, chatbots), commercial online marketing, information literacy, and learning to form the theme of the intelligence business. The fields that have been promoted so far include regional revitalization, older aging employment, youth employment, the industrial supply chain (Taiwan and Indonesia), tourism, rural economic development, etc. International research cooperation includes the United States, Indonesia, and India.
【Welcome International Internship】
I have served as an IIPP mentor of NSTC since 2023, and mentored five international interns from India, three from the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (https://kalasalingam.ac.in/) 【2023 THE 601-800; QS Asia 601-650】and two from Presidency University (https://www.presiuniv.ac.in/web/), one of whom is the Dept. Information Science and Engineering and the other is the Dept. of Civil Engineering.
