Research Field
Wen-Chi Yang is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Diplomacy,
National Chengchi University (NCCU). She is also the Director of the Center for
Australian Studies at the College of International Affairs, NCCU. She holds a Ph.D.
from the Institute of Natural Resources Management, and her research interests lie
in international relations, Oceania regional studies, and environmental policy issues
such as climate change and sustainable development.
The Center of Australia Studies at the College of International Affairs, National
Chengchi University (NCCU) is the only Australian Studies center in Taiwan.
Established in 2002, the center is dedicated to promoting exchange and
collaboration between Taiwan and Australia. The center tries to collect domestic and
international books, journals, and papers related to Australia, and establish a library
for faculty and students across departments to reference and utilize in their research
and teaching.
The center also hosts a variety of events, including:
Conferences and workshops: The center hosts both domestic and international
conferences and workshops on a variety of topics related to Australia.
Lectures and seminars: The center hosts regular lectures and seminars by leading
scholars and experts on Australia. These events provide an opportunity for students
and the public to learn about the latest developments in Australian studies.
