Our main research interest is to develop net-zero carbon emission biotechnology, including i) microalgal biorefinery platform (protein, lipids, bioactive pigments, etc.), ii) renewable bioenergy production (biodiesel, biohydrogen, etc.), and iii) waste stream/byproducts valorization to value-added product.

Job Description
The accepted intern will have the opportunity to learn and improve their experimental skills in (i) microbial biotechnology; (ii) microalgal biorefinery; (iii) “waste-to-fuel” circular economy; (iv) continuous-mode or pilot-scale bioreactor operation.
Preferred Intern Education Level
International graduate students with an engineering/science background are welcome.
