Jenhui Chen (S'99--M'03--SM'14) received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Tamkang University, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. in July 1998 and January 2003, respectively. Dr. Chen joined the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE), College of Engineering, Chang Gung University in 2003. He is currently a full professor and the chairman of the Department of CSIE, Chang Gung University. He is the head of the graduate studies section, academic affairs office, Chang Gung University. Dr. Chen is a professor of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. His main research interests include the design, analysis, and implementation of human-like intelligence (HI), computer vision, image processing and analysis, deep learning, data science, and multimedia processing.

He also served as a reviewer for many famous academic journals organized by ACM, Elsevier, IEEE, and Springer.
Welcome to the Wireless and Intelligent Network Systems Lab (WINSLab), led by Dr. Jenhui Chen, a distinguished scholar and accomplished researcher in the field of Computer Science and Information Engineering. Dr. Chen received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Tamkang University, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 1998 and 2003, respectively, and has since made significant contributions to the academic and research community.
Currently holding the position of full professor and chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at Chang Gung University, Dr. Chen has established himself as a leader in the realm of intelligent systems, with a particular focus on human-like intelligence (HI), computer vision, image processing, deep learning, data science, and multimedia processing.
His leadership extends beyond the academic realm, as he serves as the head of the graduate studies section in the academic affairs office at Chang Gung University and holds a professorship at the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Chen's extensive body of work comprises over 120 research papers published in reputable journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, and many more. As a senior member of the IEEE, he plays an active role in the editorial process, currently serving as a senior editor of Cogent Engineering and an editor of The Scientific World Journal and Advances in Computer Engineering.
His commitment to advancing the field is further demonstrated by his participation in various technical program committees, such as IEEE Globecom, IEEE VTC, IEEE ICC, IEEE ICCC, IEEE ICCCN, and IEEE 5G World Forum, as well as ACM CCIOT. Dr. Chen's expertise is widely recognized, as he also contributes as a reviewer for esteemed academic journals organized by ACM, Elsevier, IEEE, and Springer.
