Jia-Ching Wang received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, in 2002. He was an Honorary Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008 and 2009. He is currently a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Central University, Taiwan. He is also the director of NCU Innovative AI Research Center. His research interestsinclude signal processing, deep learning, machine learning, and VLSI architecture design. Prof. Wang has published more than 70 journal papers and 200 conference papers. He is an Honorary member of Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society, a senior member of IEEE, and a member of ACM and IEICE.
