Dr. Yi-Feng Lin obtained his PhD degree in department of chemical engineering, National Tsing Hua University in 2008. He served as assistant professor in department of chemical engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University in 2009. He promoted to be the distinguished professor in 2021. Now, he serves as dean of college of engineering. His research area is the synthesis of porous materials, including mesoporous aerogels and microporous MOFs for the catalytic reactions of advanced oxidation process and CO2 conversion. He has been published over 100 SCI papers and 8 invention patents. Dr. Lin ever served as keynote and invited speakers in some international conferences. He also obtained some research awards, including outstanding young research award and outstanding research articles in Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Functional Nanomaterial Lab was established in 2009. This Lab focuses on the synthesis of nanoporous matertials, such as microporous MOF, zeolite, mesoporous aerogels and macroporous electrospun nanofibrous membranes. The as-prepared nanoporous materials were applied for serveral research fields, including catalysts, membrane separation and CO2 adsorption.
