Research Field
My major interests focus on developments of bioanalytical assays and technologies with specific emphasis on biological/clinical applications. We have applied microsphere-based liquid chip (suspension microarray) as the core technology for multi-parametric profiling to systemically identify potential disease biomarkers in disorders such as sepsis, cardiovascular diseases, and cancers. We combine both micro-scaled particulate systems and molecular/cell biology techniques to develop high sensitivity and multiplexed diagnostic tools. We are also interested in developing biocompatible materials for drug delivery and biosensing.
