Assistant Professor Chi-Yun Wang is currently working at the department of International Ph.D. Program in Innovative Technology of Biomedical Engineering and Medical Devices, Research Center for Intelligent Medical Devices Ming Chi University of Technology. Her main research directions include: bone biomaterials, IVD tissue engineering. Her expertise is in Cell Biology, Tumor Biology, Molecular Biology/Biotechnology, Systems Biology, Immunology, Animal Surgical Models
In our Life Forward Biomedical and Biomaterial Lab, we are doing in medical biomaterials for bone and IVD tissue engineering and biodesign for healthcare technology for an aging population.
Lab Facility currently available: Flow cytometry, Cell culture room, Shelf freeze-dryer, Real-Time PCR machine, High-Resolution Fluorescence Microscopy, Spectrophotometer (Absorbance, Fluorescence, Luminance). Approaches: Assay for Biocompatibility, Cell Differentiation, Osteoclast differentiation, Adipogenic differentiation, Assays for Antibacterial ability, Stem Cell isolation and Purification, and cell marker labelling and detection.
