My research topics are cognitive processing and pathological diseases (including, insomnia, epilepsy, pain), I use EEG/fMRI tools combined with other behavioral trackings (eyetracker, TMS, heart rate variability) and various subjective questionnaires to explore cognitive functions (e.g., memory, creativity).
My lab use EEG/fMRI and behavioral tracking techniques (eyetracker and heart rate variability) to explore cognitive functions in healthy participants as well as in patients of insomnia, depression. We have developed a portable EEG neurofeedback training system for cognitive enhancement and amelioration of stress, insomnia, depression.
1. cognitive enhancement (memory, creativity) by EEG neurofeedback
2. mechanism for EEG neurofeedback training
3. seizure reduction or amelioration of sleep problems by neurofeedback training
