Hydrogen energy lab
Research Field
Chia-Chieh Shen started his career in Mechanical Engineering in Taiwan, where he received Bachelor in Mechanical from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Tsing-Hua University in Taiwan. After a year of postdoctoral fellowship in Fuel Cell Center at Yuan Ze University, he joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yuan Ze University in 2008, first as an assistant professor, then an associate professor. Shen visited the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2012. Currently, he leads a research group on metal hydrides, thermal hydrogenation processing, hydrogen storage tanks and fuel cells.
