Prof. Chiu-Yue Lin is a Chair Professor of Department of Environmental Engineering and Science, Department of Water Resource Engineering, Feng Chia University, TAIWAN and is currently Director of Green Energy Technology and Biotechnology Industry Development Center, Feng Chia University. He is also is a Co-Chairman of Asia Bio-HyLinks (ABHL), Vice-president of IAHE-Taiwan Chapter, and Co-CEO of APEC Research Center of Advanced Biohydrogen. He obtained his PhD degree (Engineering) from Tohoku University, JAPAN in 1986.
Prof. Lin is specialized in Biological Wastewater Treatment, Anaerobic Digestion, Biohydrogen Energy, and Fermentative Bioenergy Technology. He received “The Chinese Institute of Engineers Outstanding Engineering Professor Award” in 2012. He was named as a highly cited researcher in 2014 and was listed in world top 2% scientists in energy field (2020-2021). Over the last 30 years with Feng Chia University, Prof. Lin has successfully developed green energy research field with grouping more than 20 professors in Feng Chia University and has published around 450 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers.
Prof. Lin's lab is working on Biological Wastewater Treatment, Anaerobic Digestion, Biohydrogen Energy, and Fermentative Bioenergy Technology. This lab had many Ph D and Master students coming from Taiwan, Vietnam, India and Indonesia now has Ph D and Master students coming from Taiwan and Egypt.
