Prof. Lee has enjoyed a successful career in the field of Environmental Planning and Management. Prof. Lee holds multiple advanced degrees related to her proposed endeavor, including a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Florida International University (specializing in environmental engineering) and an M.Eng. in environmental engineering from National Chung Hsing University. Additionally, Prof. Lee has worked as a researcher and professor at multiple universities across the United States and Taiwan, including Florida International University, Tunghai University, National Taiwan University, and National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology. The SERR group is dedicated to researches in the area of environmental management and planning, including but not limited to, life cycle assessment of resources and engineering practices, spatial analysis of environmental components and development, and optimization of resource uses. Our group is also currently exploring the applications of remote sensing for environmental monitoring, specifically for marine microplastics.

- The RA will be invited to join projects for quantification of environmental impacts of several environmental engineering practices, ranging from carbon capture and utilization to wastewater treatment and reclamation.
