Prof. Lai received his Ph.D. degree of Department of Materials Science and Engineering from the National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan in 2020. He is currently an assistant professor of Department of Materials Engineering in Ming Chi University of Technology.

研究領域為電化學技術以及廢水處理等「循環經濟」議題之應用。除了電容脫鹽於海水淡化應用、層狀雙氫氧化物於廢水中選擇性汙染物的回收、透明導電薄膜於電致變色領域之應用等。雖然為新進人員學術表現尚無豐碩之成果，但是已有Nature Sustainability、ACS Energy Letters、Nano Energy、Journal of Materials Chemistry A以及ACS Applied Materials Interfaces等高點數期刊發表，近年來更是積極往人工智慧於工程領域應用上之研究。br獲獎紀錄如下：br- GONEXT digital gold award (2022數位科技解決方案競賽金牌) 2022br- Sustainable Development Goals Academic Paper Awards, TAISE 2021br- CTCI Foundation Science and Technology Scholarship(中技社獎學金) 2019br- Graduate Students Study Abroad Program(千里馬計畫), MOST 2019br- 鴻海科技獎, 鴻海教育基金會 2019br- LCY Scholarship(李長榮獎學金), LCY Education Foundation 2018br- 材料創新獎, 佳作, 中國材料科學學會 2018
