Electrochem & Biomed Lab

Welcome to Electrochem and Biomed Research Lab (https://govindasamy10uch10.wixsite.com/mani),  Innovative Technology of Biomedical Engineering and  Medical Devices, Ming Chi University of Technology, Taishan, New Taipei City, Taiwan. We are developing Electrochemical Sensors and Biosensors based on Cancers and Oxidative Stress Biomarkers using different kind of Nanomaterials and devices. We are interested in synthesizing a wide variety of 2D and 3D nanomaterials using different techniques (Hydrothermal, Microwave, Sonochemical, solvothermal and etc). We characterize these materials using different techniques such as powder XRD, HR-TEM, M-AFM, XPS, FTIR, TGA-DTA/DSC, UV and spectroflourimetry. We are investigating structural, magnetic, electrochemical, dielectrical, and catalytical properties of these materials. Developing electrochemical sensors for various biologically important molecules are of prime importance to us. Our ultimate aim is to develop biomedical and electrochemical devices.

Research Topics

My research interests include developing and innovating electrochemical active molecules for biosensors, bioelectronics. In addition, synthesis of novel nanomaterials, design and fabrication for electrochemical (bio) sensors and biomedical applications. Based on a new efficient layered nanomaterials, I am fouscing New generation of Flexible Biosensors, Field-effect Transistors (FET), Bio-electronics and Biomedical devices.
