Introduction

Professor Li currently holds a full professor position in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, where she has served as a Professor since 2020. Prior to her current role, she held teaching/research positions at the National Taipei University of Technology, where her trajectory advanced from Assistant Professor (2004-2007) to Associate Professor (2007-2012), Full Professor (2012-2018), and Distinguished Professor (2018-2020). Her academic journey also includes a notable period of time as a Researcher at the Chemical Engineering Laboratories, Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan (2002-2004) and a distinguished period as a visiting scholar at the Beckman Institute, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in USA (2013-2014).

Professor Li's research interests span a broad range of cutting-edge fields, notably Lithium-ion batteries, Particle dispersion techniques, and Surface and colloidal chemistry. These pursuits have underpinned an illustrious career characterized by a relentless commitment to innovation and meaningful contributions to the scientific community.

Professor Li's Lab is centered on porous and ceramic materials for Lithium-ion batteries, with a primary focus on the following areas: (1) ceramic solid electrolytes, (2) Li-ion cathodes, (3) high-energy anodes for Li-metal batteries, (4) porous materials, and (5) self-healing materials. Her work in these domains continues to push the boundaries of scientific knowledge and has significant implications for the development of advanced materials technologies.
