Chun-Hu Chen Lab
Research Field
Prof. Chun-Hu Chen is currently a Professor of chemistry at National Sun Yat-sen University. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Soochow University in 2000, M.S. from National Chung Cheng University in 2002, and PhD. from University of Connecticut in 2010. He conducted his post-doctoral research until 2012 at Ohio State University in material science and engineering. His research interests are in materials chemistry: from synthesis, characterization, to applications. His recent focus is applying graphene materials and metal oxides to generate green hydrogen as clean energy storage.
Our primary research focuses on the synthesis of various graphene nancomposites, metal oxide nanomaterials, and their application towards clean energy, water splitting, smart devices, electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, and bio-sensing. Industry-orientated research is also the focus. We are also interested in finding out the underlying mechanisms and interactions existing on these composites. To make contribution to clean energy and sustainable Earth together, we welcome everyone who wanted to collaborate with or join our research team.
