Introduction

Dr. Chen graduated from the Department of Health and Nutrition, Taipei Medical University. After graduation, she worked as a dietitian at the Taipei Medical University Hospital, responsible for the diet and nutrition education of pregnant women and infants. Subsequently, I obtained a Ph.D. Graduated from the Department of Pharmacy, Taipei Medical University. Currently working as an associate professor in the Department of food Science, Nutrition, and Nutraceutical Biotechnology, Shih Chien University. My research interests are in the areas of gestational diabetes, postpartum depression, and infant nutrition and disease prevention. If you are interested in these research fields, please contact me.

Our laboratory focuses on evaluating the correlation between the nutritional status of infants and young children and diseases. We design reliable and valid dietary questionnaires and investigate the correlation between nutrition and diseases by collecting physiological and biochemical data. 

Currently, our laboratory consists of 1 high school students, 4 undergraduate research students, and 1 master's research students.

1. Correlation between postpartum nutritional status and depression
2. Outcomes of dietary control on pregnancy in patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes
3. Effects of breastfeeding on nutritional status of vitamin D and iron in infants
4. Effects of breastfeeding on cognitive development in toddler
5. The effect of vitamin D nutritional status on the immune function of toddler
