Research Field
Dr. Hsiao-Fang Wang completed his bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering from National Central University (Taiwan) in 2010. He then pursued graduate studies in Chemical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, obtaining an MS in 2011 and a PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2016 under the guidance of Professor Rong-Ming Ho. Following this, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at National Tsing Hua University, focusing on the self-assembly of chiral diblock copolymers and triblock terpolymers as well as chirality transfer. From 2019 to 2023, he was an assistant professor at the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials (IMRAM), Tohoku University (Japan) with Professor Hiroshi Jinnai. In August 2023, he joined the faculty of NCU in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering as an assistant professor. His current research interests include the environmental behaviors of soft matter, nano-mechanical behavior of hybrid materials, and electron beam damage of polymers.
Our research explores the physical and environmental behaviors of soft matter, including aspects such as heat, solvents, and deformation. We are also interested in polymer physics, nanocomposites, and interfacial engineering.
