Introduction

Dr. Yu-Chi Chen received her bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from China Medical University in Taiwan, and went on to earn her master's and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University in 2012. She currently serves as the division director of the Research and Development Department and as an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Equipment Development and Application at Hung Kuang University in Taichung, Taiwan. Her research focuses on biomechanics, with a particular emphasis on "Motion Analysis" and "Rehabilitation Engineering". Dr. Chen is known for her easy-going personality and patience, as she always takes the time to teach students step by step and discuss any problems they may have. She is also the director of the Motion Analysis Laboratory, which specializes in sport biomechanics, motion detection, and the design of assistive devices. Hung Kuang University, founded in 1967, is a renowned institution in Taichung. It currently has five colleges and over twenty departments. The university also has strong ties with its affiliated hospital, Kuang Tien General Hospital, providing professors and students with access to abundant resources for medical research.

The Lab is called Motion Analysis Laboratory, which specializes in in sport biomechanics, motion detection, and the design of assistive devices.
