Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of researchers to develop, implement, and optimize deep learning models for clinical data + medical imaging applications.
  • Analyze and process complex clinical and medical imaging data to improve model accuracy and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in the fields of machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
  • Implement algorithms and conduct tests using programming tools such as Python and OpenCV.
  • Document and present findings to the research team, offering suggestions for improvements.

Preferred Intern Education Level

Pursuing or completing a bachelor’s, master’s, and/or Ph.D. student in Computer Science, Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

 

Skill sets or Qualities

  • Solid understanding of biostatistics, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision concepts.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with different databases, medical imaging data formats, and challenges is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior research or project experience in related fields.
