Introduction

I am an ecosystem ecologist interested how disturbance and anthropogenic activities affect ecosystem structure and function. My research involves field surveys and using remotely sensed data to address ecological questions. I am also very interested in socio-ecological studies. My major research site is the Fushan Experimental Forest but I also address ecological issues at broad scales (e.g., global mangrove response to extremen temperatures and tropical cyclones).
