Research Field
Dr. S. Sakthinathan is presently working as an Research Associate Professor at the Department of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) Taiwan. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) degree from Bharathidasan University, India in 2013. I worked as a summer research fellow at IIT Kanpur India and project associate at the National Centre for Catalysis Research (NCCR), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai, India before starting my PhD at NTUT-Taiwan. After, I obtained a doctorate (PhD) from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) Taiwan in 2017. After my PhD I worked post-doctoral researcher and research assistant professor in Taipei Tech, Taiwan. My research interests focus on the synthesis of 2D carbon nanomaterials for electrocatalysis, oxygen reduction reactions, electrochemical sensors, and energy storage applications. I have published 100+ research articles and book chapters. I have received five major research projects from the NSTC Taiwan.
