Dr. Pamela Berilyn So is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fragrance and Cosmetic Science at Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan. She completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry at Chung Yuan Christian University and subsequently pursued postdoctoral research fellowship at National Taiwan Normal University under Professor Chia-Her Lin. Dr. So’s research focuses on the synthesis and development of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), MOF-composites and other porous materials, exploring their various functional applications such as drug delivery, volatile organic compound (VOC) capture, and pollutant adsorption, etc. She investigates the application of MOFs and porous materials, as well as their integration with polymers to enhance material properties. Dr. So is dedicated to advancing the use of MOFs in diverse industries, contributing to innovations in material science, nanotechnology, and biomedical applications. Her work also aims to address pressing environmental and healthcare challenges.
