Research Field
Dr. Kao is a senior plastic surgeon who focus in head neck reconstruction and microsurgery. In bisic research, he is interested in stem cell and exosome tx by using different animal model, such as diabetic mice and nude mice. He published a lot of papers in the top journals across the fields of surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, and regenerative medicine.
Our lab focus in difficult-to-heal wound and tissue regeneration using adipose stem cell and its derived exosomes to treat.
