Research Field
Dr. Chen has been a distinguished professor at CGUST for many years. Before transitioning to academia, she worked as a registered nurse, clinical head nurse, home care nursing supervisor, and infection control specialist in two major medical centers in northern Taiwan. Throughout her career, Dr. Chen has dedicated much of her life to understanding disease progression and initiating health promotion projects. She has authored and edited four textbooks on healthy aging and has published over 100 research papers on health promotion. She firmly believes that many chronic diseases can be prevented through lifestyle modifications, including a healthy diet, regular exercise, and effective stress management—especially in the prevention of cancer and cardiometabolic disorders.
