Leading this group of talented researchers on our exploration of our research focus has been an incredible journey. As the mentor, I provide guidance, support, and mentorship to our laboratory members. I take considerable pride in nurturing the talents of our researchers and helping them grow professionally and personally.
Our laboratory comprises a group of members with a spirit of mutual support and collaboration. Our laboratory embodies our team's collective passion for research related to nutritional biochemistry (please refer to the specific research topic) and our dedication to advancing knowledge in the field. We warmly welcome students from abroad who are interested in nutrition research. Our goal is to foster a culturally diverse environment where a variety of viewpoints enhance our research pursuits.
1. Non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases (NAFLD) and nutrition: Syunei's Lab keeps focusing on NAFLD and nutrition and has been doing a lot of related research until now. It is the leading research topic in Syunei's Lab.
2. Soy protein research: In addition to the NAFLD experiments, Syunei's Lab collaborates with Tohoku University and Fuji Oil Co. Japan on the technology of soy protein. We work together with industry partners to develop functional health materials.
3. Nutritional Sciences: Syunei's Lab conducts human trials for oral nutritional supplements to promote the nutrition status of the elderly.
