Geotechnical Engineering and Structural Model Laboratory
Research Field
I am a professor at National University of Kaohsiung and the head of the Geotechnical Engineering and Structural Model Laboratory. My research focuses on image measurement, computational mechanics, and soil-structure interaction. Currently, I have a bilateral international cooperation project with ISAE-Supmeca in France, and I welcome outstanding students from both domestic and international backgrounds to join our team.
The primary research themes of the Geotechnical Engineering and Structural Model Laboratory include the research and development of digital image measurement technology and numerical simulation of geotechnical engineering problems. The laboratory maintains close collaborative relationships with National Chi Nan University, National Cheng Kung University, and National Chin-Yi University of Technology. In the past few years, we have had collaborative experiences and personnel exchanges with ISAE-Supmeca in France. We are currently implementing a four-year bilateral cooperation project (2023-2026) with ISAE-Supmeca.
The research interests of the principal investigator include digital image correlation methods (DIC), numerical analysis, finite element method (FEM), and computer-aided measurement.
Publications include 30 journal papers, 37 international conference papers, 4 patents
