Introduction

Ying-Chih Liao is a professor of Chemical Engineering Department at National Taiwan University. He received his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in 2004. He conducts long-term research activity in printing technology, and is one of the leading experts in the field of coating and printing in Asia. The research funding of his lab has been continuously supported by National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan and various companies in the past decade.

Pricision Printing Technology Lab is led by Prof. Ying-Chih Liao. Their expertise in precision printed microelectronics makes the  team a key contributor to advanced biosensor fabrication. Their work has driven advancements in printed electronics, particularly for wearable technology and biosensing platforms, through innovative applications of stable inks, biodegradable substrates, and optimized sensing electrodes.
