Hi everyone, my name is Zhao-Chi Chen (George). I received my PhD. from the Department of Mechatronic Engineering at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) in Taiwan. Currently, I served as a full-time assistant professor at the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Optomechatronics, Taipei Medical University (TMU). My main interests include the design/manufacturing of electromechanical devices and applied mechanical measurement/analysis; I also explore the application of advanced pulsed-laser ablation and 3D composite printing technology in biomolecular/biomedical detection applications. Surely, now we research direction focused on laser-combined with 3D printing multi-scale micro/nanostructure technology in the design of wearable non-invasive biomedical sensing devices.

I have the qualifications to be an administrative teacher in a school-level international dual-degree program, as well as a teaching teacher. Therefore, I have considerable experience in the school's systematic curriculum teaching, EMI courses and administrative services. At the same time, I also have industry experience in the field of machine tools. I am the main engineer responsible for the design and improvement of the process that laser hybrid-machines. I have the skills to help students match their interests with industry needs, being able to integrate and collaborate.

My research team has created many fruitful results, including guiding international students to match internship opportunities in Taiwan; the NSTC research project award within students; the national medical engineering competition award, and the international conference paper award.

I am a person who studies hard and is eager to continue in grow. I like to participate and collaborate, as well as I love communicating with people and putting forward opinions with everyone to discuss reasonable consensus and results. Therefore, we look forward to having like-minded partners working together to create an environment where teaching and research can go ahead in hand.
