Introduction

Dr. Hsi-Hsien Yang is a distinguished professor and dean of the Research and Development Office at the Chaoyang University of Technology. He graduated from Tunghai University with a bachelor’s degree in 1993, and obtained his master’s and PhD at National Cheng Kung University in 1995 and 1998, successively. He served as an assistant professor, an associate professor, a chairperson of the Department of Environmental Engineering and Management, a professor, a distinguished professor, and a dean of research, and in the Development Office at Chaoyang University of Technology since 1999. He also is an editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Applied Science and Engineering (Scopus) since 2020. He has published more than 100 articles in domestic and foreign journals and has led and participated in multiple scientific research projects.
