Introduction

Dr. Kang is particularly careful in setting up and analyzing experiments, and is able to effectively integrate resources to accomplish research results. He had co-authored several academic articles in top international journals such as Adv. Mater., Nanoscale, etc.. In addition, Dr. Kang also has foreign-related experience, having conducted short-term research work at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia in 2014, where he led important work including laboratory setup and space planning, and optical measurement system setup. After obtaining his PhD degree, Dr. Kang joined Koja (5215) as a R&D engineer and Luumii as a R&D manager in order to accumulate industrial R&D and management experience. During this period, Dr. Kang was responsible for the transition of the company from traditional flexible printed circuit boards to micro LEDs. Currently, Dr. Kang is an assistant professor of EE in Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, who focuses on advanced nano-device and memresistor application.

Resistive switching (RS) characteristics is one of the most promising candidates as a next generation nonvolatile memory (NVM), owing to its superior scalability, low power consumption and high speed. An innovative strategy is utilized by formation and rupture of electrically triggered conducting nanofilaments (CNFs) within MIM structure to switch basic electrical properties between RS states without further material modification and manufacturing processes.
