Research Field
Dr. Doan's academic journey began at Nha Trang University, Vietnam, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology in 2012. Building upon her foundation, she pursued further studies at the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. There, she completed her Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Animal Vaccine Technology in 2020. Currently, she is an assistant professor in the International Degree Program in Animal Vaccine Technology at the International College, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. Her current research interest lies in animal vaccine and adjuvant development.
Welcome to Dr. Doan's laboratory, where innovative research converges with a commitment to enhancing animal health. Our team is dedicated to developing vaccines for chickens, ducks, pigs, and bovines. To enhance vaccine efficacy, we are focusing on Toll-like receptor ligands as biological adjuvants, including TLR5 ligands like flagellin, TLR4 ligands such as suilysin, and TLR2 ligands like Lipoprotein. With technological advancements, our scope also includes genetic engineering and protein expression systems utilizing E. coli, baculovirus, and mammalian cells. Join us as we push the boundaries of veterinary science and strive to safeguard animal populations worldwide.
